Mountainsmith was born in 1978 in the Front Range of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. Their products include high-level performance backpacks, lumbar packs, travel storage, camera bags and luggage. Mountainsmith’s exquisitely beautiful and physically challenging landscape has been the workshop, playground and testing facility for the company since its creation.

Through Mountainsmith’s collective experience of hiking, climbing, running, riding, sliding and paddling among its canyons and peaks, rivers and creeks, Mountainsmith has created the unique and timeless packs and accessories they are so well known for.
