Launched at the Outdoor Retailer show in Salt Lake City in the fall of 1997, Cloudveil is a focused, performance-oriented product offering that dares to think "outside the box" when it comes to functional design, fabrication and innovation.

At Cloudveil we encourage others to find inspiration in the outdoors. Derived from our collective mountain experience, we are committed to creating inspired outdoor apparel that offers innovation without excess and quality without compromise.

Cloudveil's founding duo, Stephen Sullivan and Brian Cousins head into the mountains to test proposed designs and materials, constantly refining concepts and discovering innovative new fabrications. Cloudveil apparel has traveled the globe and proven its worth in tens of thousands of user days in outdoor environments. Sullivan and Cousins remain as dedicated to that passion now as they were ten years ago.
